  1. Now this is ART.
And to have brought letters, forms and shapes together with little captions to shed light, is just the surface of the artwork! The concept is so energizing, literally, that I am immediately wondering how to get the kids to work with words like this, to start with! This is going to be a must show at one of our Literary Club days :) Thanks!

To the word itself. Desire. The beginning of creation, the movement in creation, and finally what ends what is created, most times! Brilliant!!
Energy that is raring to go, rocket like, pulsating perhaps, and pushing one on...
Even desire that is pent up, that will surely find a way out; and usually isn't this the way we are, thru' most of our lives? Holding in desires, or bottling them up! What good does it do, finally?
Finding the "I", and the ego, the richness of desires in life, knowing it to be different for him and her, or HIM and HER... He whose manifest physical desire propels, while hers is the receptacle that accepts? (Dan Brown, "Da Vinci Code)... Gosh! I have these numerous associated bits of imagery that have been instigated by this one word, that you so artfully created into a poem!!!

The cycle of birth, and finally the negation of desire in death!

Mind-blowing, the thought, the word then translated, and the image that finally breathes the creation! Bravo! Venkat, each one you bring to us makes us stretch ourselves just that little more and believe that even this can be done! A marvel, nothing less, is this poem to me!

And... congratulations on the blog. I love the "About Me"! It truly is you :) :)
Looking forward to visiting this place :)

  2. @Usha - It's a privilege to have your blessings on the blog and more so, your valuable comments on the latest write. I am gratified that it can indeed be interpreted as art, for those close to me know, I cannot draw a straight line even with the help of a ruler :) so to have any kind of visual art from my pen accepted is a huge kick for me!

I am not surprised any more that you can pluck the gist of a write seemingly out of thin air, even when it's hidden layers deep. I never made any mention about the Beginning of Creation, yet it was the motivation for the write itself...it translated itself, yet you captured it, and I delighted.Every other form of desire, manifesting not only in human action, but nature and the Universe itself...all of it captured by you and the review stands complete :) The central theme of this write was that nothing really needs to exist. The Universe as we know it, has been birthed from the desire of whatever creative power exists...that desire then becomes the reason for our collective existence, nature, actions, mating, birth and even death. Nothing has escaped you, and that is why this write is truly blessed, for it stands to gain your insight at the very outset. Thank you for all the positive energy....it instills desire to keep going!

  3. What you are to do, for the tag is this:
In your post, you link (hyperlink) back to the person who asked you to do the tag. List the rules (sort of, of the tag); and in this case, write out your ten sins... :) Then, link others you feel might like to do this.

After which you post your link on the FB group, the link of which is on my blog, in that post. Done. The best part is writing it out, in the unique special YOU way... almost all those who have commented there, have done this tag. And each one is refreshingly different. Maybe you'd like to read a few, to get an idea :)
